Orange County Sheriff's Department Search and Rescue Unit PR/Speaker's Request

Requesting a PR Event or a Meeting Speaker:
	The resources of the Orange County Sheriff's Department Search and Rescue Unit can be requested for your Public Relations event or speaking engagement. Please note that a REQUEST for resources does not guarantee that the Unit will be available for your event. You can request a static display, a Search and Rescue vehicle, one of our specialty units, or a speaker (on a wide variety of topics) for your group. Requests are handled on a first-come-first-serve basis, so make your requests early! Requests normally need to be made at least TWO WEEKS in advance of your event. Priority is given to events with an attendance of at least 250 persons. Smaller venues may be scheduled if the Unit is available.
Making Your Request:
	When you are ready to make your PR request, visit the on-line PR/Speaker's Request Form by clicking on the link below: Please provide all of the required information on the on-line form. Once you have submitted your request, you will receive an automated request confirmation via email. Within three days, a member of the Search and Rescue Unit will personally contact you via phone or email to let you know if your request has been accepted and scheduled. NOTE: Unfortunately, not all requests can be honored, but we will do our best!
Calendar of Scheduled PR/Speaking Events:
	Once your PR Event or Speaking Engagement has been confirmed and scheduled, it will appear on our schedule of planned events. Final Considerations...
	Search and Rescue is an operational unit of the Orange County Sheriff's Department that is on-call 24-hours a day. Scheduled PR events and speaking engagements can be cancelled in advance or terminated in progress in the event of an operational mission.
